VeeKay, Simpson score double podium finish for Honda in Canada

21st July 2025: Honda celebrated a double podium at the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto, as Rinus VeeKay and Kyffin Simpson both secured their first-career podiums with the brand. VeeKay, in his debut season with Honda and Dale Coyne Racing, finished second—his first podium of 2025 and the team’s first since 2023. Simpson charged from 13th to third for Chip Ganassi Racing, marking the biggest climb of the race. Andretti Global drivers Colton Herta, Marcus Ericsson, and Kyle Kirkwood claimed P4–P6, with Graham Rahal in P7, placing four Honda teams in the top seven. Despite a P12 finish for points leader Alex Palou, Honda continues its dominance in the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, winning 11 of 13 races and holding a 205-point lead in the manufacturers' standings.
